Quality department

Production, both in aluminium windows and profiles, comply with ISO9001 and ISO140001 standard based on a series of internal procedures that must be applied in order to ensure constant quality of the finished product.

The first step in this process is to control the incoming raw materials. By evaluating our suppliers and inspecting the incoming goods, the quality of the raw material can be guaranteed.
Nonconforming products are returned to the supplier and are not used in the process. Each day, before production starts, all the machines and workers equipment are verified to respect supplier specifications. The operator notes all measurements and keeps a file with all the details.

All checks are carried out according to the most rigorous internal standards.
The quality controls comprise of three main checks: self-assessment, random control and final control.

For the self-assessment, each operator, from each work post, receives a checklist file with the windows from current projects. During the manufacturing process, for each item on which operations are performed the operator ticks the checklist validating or not validating the item.

The random control is performed by a member of the Quality department who is appointed to supervise, assist and interact with the quality operations performed by an operator. The operator randomly checks items on the production flow: correct dimensions, ventilation and drainage holes, correct joining of the corners etc.

The final control is also performed by the Quality department and it is conducted on the finished product. Each item is checked to respect customer specifications and production standards: correct dimensions and openings, ventilation and drainage holes, handle drillings, correctly assembled corners etc. A final control is also to be undertaken on hardware to ensure proper functionality and safety for the end user.

After the items receive the approval of the Quality Department, they are packed and prepared for transportation. Windows are placed on standard europallets, for ease of handling in the factory and on site. They are then labeled and sent.
